Or you can bring a gift per person for the Nature Center as admission. Gifts are listed on tags on our giving tree in our lobby.
Reservations are not required.
Meet our live animals in a presentation, followed by making a craft, opening the gifts, and maybe visiting Liberty’s kitchen.
Our animals love the holidays! They get to see lots of visitors and get some new things for their homes. During this program you will get a chance to meet some of the animals up close and personal. We will also open any gifts from their “Giving Tree.” We will make a craft to help your backyard animals and if there is time, take a tour of Liberty’s kitchen, to see what happens with the Bald Eagle behind-the-scenes. Santa may stop by since he’s not as busy to visit with the animals and the kids!
In lieu of cash admissions, you could opt to bring a gift from our Giving Tree. This is a tree in the lobby of the Nature Center starting just before Thanksgiving. Gifts are for the animals, the educational programs, or are everyday items that keep the organization running! Some of it isn’t glamorous but it is all needed! If you would like to call rather than drive down, we can grab a tag off the tree for you and let you know what’s on it.
Program Location: Nature Center multipurpose room and Liberty’s care room.
Special Information: There will be live animals, including snakes, present during the program. Bring warm clothes in case we go out to Liberty’s room. Santa may make an appearance!
