Christmas with the Critters (All)
Friday, December 27, 2013, 10:00am-12:00pm
Audubon multipurpose room
$8; $6/Friends of the Nature Center; OR gift from the Giving Tree
Reservations are not required.
Come and celebrate the holidays with Audubon animals and staff!
Meet some of Audubon animals up close during a live animal presentation for the holidays. Our Giving Tree stands in the lobby beginning the Monday after Thanksgiving. Grab a gift tag, purchase the item, and bring it back as your admission. Each person must bring a gift for admission. If you can’t attend the event, you can always return your wrapped gift under the tree before hand. We’ll make a gift for the animals, read a story, and open some presents for the animals!
The gifts benefit the live animals at Audubon, including Liberty, and the staff that takes care of them. Items like paper towels, bleach, Ziploc bags, sponges, brushes, and dish and hand soap help us care for the animals. Items like hides, bark, light bulbs, food, and decorations help the animals directly. Other things that help out are paper, laminate, pencils, printer ink, and gift cards to maintain the records and signs for the animals. So grab a gift tag and join us on December 27!
Sarah Hatfield heads up Animal Care at Audubon.
Program Location: Auditorium.
Special Information: A gift from the Giving Tree can be used as admission to the program. Names, addresses and phone numbers should be on the tags so donation thank you’s can be sent.
